Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Support Worker to provide care and assistance to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospice care, senior care, and patient care, ensuring the well-being of those they support.
Responsibilities
1. Deliver high-quality care and support to individuals requiring assistance.
2. Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene and meal preparation.
3. Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals under your care.
4. Administer medication following prescribed guidelines.
5. Implement behaviour management strategies as needed.
Experience
1. Previous experience in hospice care, nursing, senior care, or a related field is desirable.
2. Knowledge of dementia care and home care practices is advantageous.
3. Ability to provide childcare and demonstrate effective behaviour management skills.
4. Proficient in medication administration techniques.
5. A caring and empathetic nature with a passion for providing quality care.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £11.44-£13.96 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 46 per week
