This role has a commission structure on top of base salary.
ROLE PURPOSE
To provide a quality service to new and existing clients, covering all aspects of their insurance arrangements; to advise, arrange, and secure the appropriate cover at a competitive premium. This will encompass all areas from Fleet to Small Commercial Risks. Our clients are seeking a driven and motivated individual with a strong desire to win and maintain new business. The ideal candidate thrives on challenges and is eager to contribute to their team's success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Client Management: Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored insurance solutions.
2. Policy Administration: Manage the administration of insurance policies, including renewals, mid-term adjustments, claims and general inquiries. Liaise with senior colleagues, experts or insurers when issues fall outside own experience and knowledge.
3. Quotations: Obtain and present competitive insurance quotations to clients, ensuring their coverage requirements are met.
4. Customer Service: Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and efficiently through all communication methods.
5. Documentation: Ensure all client records and documentation are accurate and up to date.
6. Claims Assistance: Assist clients with the claims process, liaising with insurers and other parties as necessary.
7. Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
1. Minimum of 12 months commercial insurance experience.
2. Cert CII status or actively working towards it.
3. Strong GCSEs or equivalent preferred.
4. Occasional overtime may be required.
5. Awareness and compliance with best practice guides, conduct rules, security protocols and the employee handbook.
6. Follow our clients company processes and procedures as per the department training guidelines.
7. Assist in other areas of the team during staff shortages or increased workload.
8. Knowledge and understanding of core policies including current market conditions.
9. Knowledge and understanding of FCA rules and guidelines relating to commercial and/or private customers.
