The Hadley Unit sits in our Inpatient pathway and is the Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) that covers the county of Worcestershire. It sits alongside the Assessment ward, the Treatment Ward, and two Rehabilitation units within the pathway. Hadley Unit is a 9 bed mixed gender treatment ward that is situated in Worcester. The Hadley Unit is a referral-based service; we can accept referrals from a number of sources including the community, acute wards and patients detained by the Ministry of Justice. As one of the Health Care Assistants on the ward you will work closely with the wards Staff Nurses and the management and medical team. Part of your role is to ensure patient care is of the highest standards, you act as a role model at all times and use your initiative to maintain quality and safety.
