Tennial Personnel is seeking a highly skilled and professional Contract Manager to join our clients team in Felixstowe. This is a full-time, permanent role, operating Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This position offers the opportunity to lead key operational functions within a dynamic logistics environment while ensuring efficiency, compliance, and strong client relationships. Job-Specific Duties Health & Safety: Ensure the warehouse is maintained as a safe, clean, and secure environment for all personnel. Warehouse Operations: Oversee efficient processes for the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Inventory Management: Minimize stock loss or damage through effective storage procedures and regular inventory audits. Space Utilization: Optimize warehouse space and ensure resources are adequately allocated, including staffing and tools. Team Leadership: Conduct team meetings, deliver training, maintain job descriptions, and perform annual performance evaluations. Compliance & Discipline: Enforce workplace discipline, monitor timekeeping, and ensure compliance with company and legal standards. Material Handling Equipment (MHE): Oversee the safe operation of MHE by appropriately trained staff. Customer Relations: Communicate effectively with clients to meet their requirements and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs). Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization to improve overall efficiency. General Responsibilities Adhere to and promote company health and safety policies and standards. Represent the company professionally, maintaining a positive image at all times. Ensure compliance with company rules, agreements, and notices. Foster teamwork and effective communication within and across departments. Attend meetings, conferences, and company events as required. Perform other duties as directed by senior management. Awareness of health and safety in operational environments. Familiarity with financial KPIs and routine compliance. Desirable: NVQ Level 3 qualification. SPA certification.
