What will I be responsible for?
Joining our team as a Recoveries & Collections Manager, you will be responsible for assisting our clients based in the South of England. Your role will cover these key areas:
- Ownership of recoveries and collections
- Monitor and manage all client defaults
- Report to executive management and update on cases
- Manage all litigation from start to finish and liaise with external counsel where appropriate
- Own bad debt forecasting
- Integrating technology and platforms to help manage the credit/recovery process
- Take an active role as part of the credit committee
- Define, implement and iterate on the debt/collections recovery process within the business
- Provide guidance to credit and other departments to help drive correct decision-making
- Draft and send demand, RoR & LBA letters
- Be sensitive to the client's position and try to establish paths to repayment away from enforcement
- Manage relationships and the process with the receivers/administrators
- Consistently monitor the recoverability of loans and the security pledged in favour of them
