The DEI Manager at Ideagen will be instrumental in cultivating an inclusive environment where differences are celebrated, and every colleague feels empowered to bring their authentic self to work. This role goes beyond compliance, focusing on building a culture where diversity is ingrained in our values and practices. As the DEI Manager, you will be a key driver in enhancing employee experience and shaping Ideagen's identity as an inclusive and innovative organization.
Responsibilities
1. Lead DEI Initiatives: Chair the DEI Steering Group to align and guide the company’s DEI vision and objectives.
2. Strategic Analysis and Advice: Provide expert analysis on the inclusivity of our people practices and offer strategic advice to enhance diversity across the organization.
3. Diversity Assessments: Conduct thorough diversity assessments to evaluate and improve organizational practices and processes.
4. Network Creation: Establish and nurture diversity networks to ensure all voices are heard and represented within Ideagen.
5. Support Underrepresented Groups: Develop and implement positive action initiatives to support and empower underrepresented groups within the company.
6. Coaching and Development: Coach and upskill managers and employees on the importance and benefits of diversity, fostering a culture of learning and inclusivity.
7. Diversity Analytics: Create and utilize diversity analytics to track performance and compliance with legislative requirements.
8. Celebration and Awareness: Organize events and awareness sessions to celebrate and educate on diversity.
9. External Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with external bodies and third-party providers to represent Ideagen in the broader community.
Skills and Experience
1. Proven track record of executing DEI projects in a corporate environment.
2. Strong project management and people management skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
3. Experience in organizing or supporting diversity-promoting events.
4. Strategic and commercial insight with a focus on practical implementation.
5. Robust analytical skills to interpret diversity data and drive informed decisions.
6. Excellent networking skills with established external connections.
7. Hands-on approach with the ability to manage operational tasks effectively.
8. Global mindset with an understanding of diverse cultural perspectives.
9. Demonstrated ability to collaborate across various functions and teams.
