Position Summary The International region is comprised of three key sub regions: EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), Asia and Australia and New Zealand with a large, diverse customer base ranging from casinos to small shops. This position requires a strong, commercially astute leader, who will drive growth in the business across all regions. The MD, International for Gaming should be a talented, multifaceted leader who can lead strong, smart leaders that need to be challenged and stretched to grow their respective regional businesses through strategic planning, business management and strong execution. The leader will bring P&L discipline to focus on both the top-line and bottom-line in partnership with the Gaming CFO. S/he should be a strategic operating executive with a track record of success in business growth and leadership in a highly matrixed and complex environment and can demonstrate a relentless focus on growth and excellence in delivery. The Gaming division comes from a legacy of acquisitions and infrastructure and this person should be comfortable in leading by example as a culture carrier to bring more of a cultural identity to the team. The successful candidate must be an outstanding people leader who can develop, deploy and manage a senior leadership team to meet and exceed key performance objectives, as well as leading a matrixed organisation with leadership responsibilities for teams outside of the direct management structure. This is a varied role and the ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, creative, quick thinking with excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Any Regional languages (Chinese, Spanish, French or German) in addition to English is a plus but not essential.
