We are a residential academy for boys, aged 8-19, with 50 students on roll and situated in leafy Wiltshire. We deliver both education and care to a wide range of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). This includes Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Speech, Language and Communication needs (SLCN) and Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC). The residential aspect of the school enables students access to an extensive range of extracurricular experiences, stability and time to build confidence and skills in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Benefits of working with us:
There are many advantages to working for us. Included in your actual annual salary is generous annual leave entitlement, access to a local government pension scheme, sick pay scheme, cycle-to-work scheme, free eye tests, employee assistance helpline, and access to Schools Advisory Service.
Personal Attributes:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, imaginative, and energetic Facilities, Lettings and Maintenance Assistant to join our academy’s vision. We aim for our young people to be kind, stay safe, and show respect. These values underpin all that we do during the day and the evening. We hope that the successful candidate will be committed to improving the outcomes for the pupils, as well as learning new skills and acquiring knowledge themselves.
What can we offer you?
We provide an extensive range of professional development courses and qualifications, and we aim for staff to become lifelong learners, just like our young people. All staff at Notton House are supportive and caring; there is always someone to lend a hand or share a listening ear.
Skills and Experience:
Previous experience of working in a facilities role is desirable but not essential.
