The company was formed in 2013 to provide face-to-face (F2F) membership recruitment services for the members of the company. Job Purpose To recruit new members to the Wildlife Trusts against company established targets. Reporting Line Reports directly to the Team Leader/Area Manager/Operations Director. Staff Management No direct line reports What we offer Pay Fantastic earning potential with uncapped commission Our top performers are regularly earning in excess of £40.00 p/hr With average earnings of £17.00 p/hr (£32,000 FTE). In addition to uncapped commission, you will enjoy a guaranteed minimum hourly rate of £15.00 during the first 60 days of employment, and £12.00 p/hr minimum safety net rate thereafter. Contract We offer permanent, part-time contracts to fit around your busy lifestyle You will work 3 days per week at a variety of venues and events, pre-booked by our friendly, in-house, Venue Coordination Team. You will be ready and able to work weekends and bank holidays when venue footfall is at its best, making the most out of your earning potential Training Full training and support is provided from day one Our initial induction training is held weekly and comprises of 4 days paid training at our head office and in the field. Attend pre-booked venues/events and set up materials (table, display etc.) Complete all relevant paperwork and reports in an accurate and timely manner in line with management requirements including the use of IT where appropriate. Comply with the General Data Protection Regulation to ensure privacy of individuals. Always represent Wildlife Fundraising and the Wildlife Trusts in a professional and informed manner, whether engaging with members of the public, venues, Trust staff & volunteers, or any other supporters. Follow and implement the Chartered Institute of Fundraising (CioF) guidelines. Identify new potential events/venues to attend and communicate to the Venue Coordinator. Relay any feedback received from the public, supporters, or members information to their manager and/or relevant Trust in a timely manner. To ensure Health and Safety obligations laid out in the Health and Safety Policy are met across the breadth of office and field/venue-based activity. Attend any training events or days as organised by Wildlife Fundraising or the Wildlife Trust, with a minimum of 2 per year. Any other duties as delegated by the Team Leader/Area Manager, Operations Director, or Chief Executive. Other The nature of the role will require working unsocial hours including weekends (inclusive of Sundays) and Bank Holidays. Recruiters will need to provide their own means of reaching agreed work sites with all necessary equipment. Recruiters are expected to carry out their job responsibilities in an environmentally aware manner, ensuring as little damage to the environment as possible.
