Job Description: Science Teacher Location: North West England, Cheshire, Poynton Job Type: Contract, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £162 - £251 Per day Job Duties: Plan, prepare and deliver engaging science lessons to students Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations Provide feedback to students, parents, and school management on student performance Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development Supervise and support students in practical experiments and investigations Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Degree in Science or related field Proven experience teaching science at the secondary level Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Experience in teaching science subjects at GCSE and A-Level Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students Strong classroom management skills Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education or Science Experience in preparing students for external examinations Participation in continuing professional development courses Working Conditions: Regular working hours with occasional extra-curricular activities Classroom-based teaching with access to laboratory facilities Interaction with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
