Job Specification:
Responsible to the HR Manager, you will be supporting day-to-day HR activity, covering but not limited to the following areas:
* Administrative support: Maintaining the employee database systems, arranging meetings and appointments, handling incoming and outgoing post.
* Answering enquiries: Providing an initial response to internal and external enquiries from existing staff members, managers and candidates for vacancies.
* Assisting with recruitment: Publishing and editing job listings, arranging interviews and communicating directly with candidates.
* Assisting with onboarding: Leading orientation for new employees and giving information about benefits.
* Assisting with annual leave and absence reporting.
* Payroll & Benefits: Assisting with payroll processing and employee benefits administration.
* Producing documents: Updating employee handbooks and newsletters and writing letters and reports.
* Recruitment support: Maintaining the applicant tracking system (ATS); CV screening and administration.
* Supporting on ad-hoc projects.

* Ability to work with high self-direction and flexibility, especially with respect to taking initiative, prioritising multiple tasks, and using good judgment to resolve problems.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Must be educated to degree level (Bachelor’s degree).
* CIPD level 3 or above is desirable but not essential.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft-based applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* Must be eligible to work in the UK.
