About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Female Security Officer to join our team in Edinburgh. This role is specifically for female applicants due to site-based operational needs. While 2 years of security experience is preferred, it is not essential, and customer service experience would also be beneficial. If you hold an SIA licence and live within a reasonable commuting distance, we’d love to hear from you.
Location: Edinburgh
Hours: 42 hours per week (4 on, 4 off – day shifts)
Salary: £12 per hour ( equating to £26,200 per annum) + opportunity to earn more with overtime

Job Opportunity
What You’ll Do:
* Conduct security checks and ensure the safety of all personnel and visitors on-site.
* Monitor and manage site access, maintaining strict control over who enters the premises.
* Perform necessary searches with professionalism, ensuring procedures are followed with respect and care.
* Respond swiftly and effectively to any incidents, providing support and coordination as needed.
* Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.
What We’re Looking For:
* Female candidates only, due to the specific operational needs of the site.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
* A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Previous experience in security is a plus, but full training will be provided.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
