Lecturer - Performing Arts - Fixed Term 31/07/2025 ROLE DESCRIPTION We are looking for a Lecturer in Performing Arts (FE and HE) (0.5) with specialisms in two or more of the following: Musical Theatre, Directing, Writing, Acting for TV and Film, Technical Theatre and movement/dance Kidderminster College is a thriving college in the heart of the West Midlands. This post provides an excellent opportunity for two lecturer-practitioners with enthusiasm and drive who are committed to industry-focused, student-centred teaching. The ideal candidates would hold a Masters or level 7 equivalent qualification OR the equivalent professional experience in industry as well as a teaching qualification. The successful candidates will need to have a flexible approach, be independent and proactive, have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with strong communication skills and be able to negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation.
