About the Team
This is an exciting time to join Warwickshire County Council as a Pensions Assistant for the Warwickshire LGPS Pension Fund. Our already high-performing Pensions Administration Service is poised and ready to take on new challenges, including upcoming government projects and regulatory changes, and to take advantage of new technology and digital solutions to ensure excellent service to scheme members and employers alike.
About the Role
Warwickshire are looking for a new pension assistant to work within the pension service.
Warwickshire Pension Fund provides the administration for the Warwickshire Local Government Pension Scheme, to approx. 200 employers.
It is a varied and interesting role working alongside our employers to ensure we maintain accurate records to calculate pension benefits, whilst dealing with queries from current and former members of the scheme. You get some fantastic customer interaction, working with other council departments (such as payroll) and a chance to develop understanding of the Local Government Pension Scheme.
Previous experience of working in a pension environment is desirable but not essential as full training for the role will be provided.
