Golley Slater are looking for a Media Planner to join our thriving media independent.
The role will be responsible for identifying the target audience, producing the media strategy, media plans to answer the clients’ objectives. You conduct audience, market and brand research and use their knowledge of the ever-changing media landscape to recommend the best approach for each client.
What you will be doing:
1. Researching and analysing market data to understand the client’s target audience and the best ways to reach them through a variety of media channels.
2. Creating media strategy which includes media channel rationale.
3. Creating media plan which includes the detailed platforms and delivery for each of the media channels to be used.
4. Briefing out and working with Media Owners on external channels.
5. Presenting media strategy and plans to the client.
6. Identifying target audiences and analyse their behaviour, characteristics, and routines using ETelmar SurveyTime.
The essential skills and experience you need to be successful in the role are:
7. 2+ years' experience in a media planning role at a media agency.
8. Comprehensive knowledge of media planning and buying techniques and strategies.
9. Analytical and strategic thinking
10. Media planning
11. Teamwork and collaboration
12. Numerical skills
13. Communication and writing
14. Proficiency across Microsoft suite
15. Experience of Neilson Ad Dynamix, ETelmar, and other industry systems is desirable but not required.
