Ninja-style movements are essential; you must have the ability to reach to wipe a runny nose, catch a toppling tower, dive to save a spilling paint tub, stop a ‘speeding’ car chase with your feet and respond to ‘can you look at my p*o?’ all at the same time!
Eyes in the back of your head is a necessity as well as the ability to rapidly count the heads of numerous moving small people!
Be willing to share lots of information about your personal life, eating habits such as “what have you had for your lunch?”. You’ll be inundated with invites to tea at their houses!
You must be able to read a story, repeatedly, with at least 4 interruptions per page, upside down and in character (the funnier the voices the better)! Speaking of characters, you must also have the ability to change from ‘Teacher’ to ‘Disney Princess’ to ‘Police Officer’ to ‘Dinosaur’ to ‘Hair Stylist’ within minutes – continually excited to play each role!
The ability to sing in tune is desirable but not necessary; however, the ability to sing in front of a gathering of little people is essential! You must be able to laugh at jokes that you don’t understand or find funny!

Recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Qualification Essential! This position is for an all year contract (we cannot accept Term-Time requests).
