About the Nursery Our nursery is highly respected for providing exceptional early years care and education to children aged 6 months to 4 years. Key Responsibilities As a valued member of our team, you will work alongside experienced colleagues to create an enriching and positive environment for the children. Your main duties will include: Activity Planning: Designing and leading engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Progress Monitoring: Observing children’s development, documenting key achievements and milestones. Parent Communication: Building positive relationships with parents and carers, ensuring clear and supportive communication. Safety and Hygiene: Maintaining a safe, clean, and hygienic environment at all times. Emotional Support: Encouraging children’s emotional well-being, offering comfort and support where needed. Team Collaboration: Working collaboratively with colleagues to foster a creative and stimulating learning atmosphere. Qualifications and Experience The ideal candidate will possess: NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent). Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting (preferred). A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and its practical implementation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A genuine passion for supporting children’s growth and development.
