Director of Applications Management St Albans with Hybrid working and regular trips to our IT hub in Winchester Highly Competitive Package As a Director of Applications Management, you'll be a key member of our Senior Leadership Team with a remit to lead a team of SAP Functional Architects, ABAP, and MERN stack developers to deliver Business-as-Usual (BAU) activities including support and change. The Director of Applications Management will also be responsible for ensuring the support model for Off-The-Shelf and/or SaaS products are both appropriate and optimised whilst representing the Applications Management function in our short and long-term strategic plans. In this respect, you will own our strategic supplier relationships in this space, working with the Head of Service to ensure alignment through the IT Service Desk. You will have the chance to deliver an Applications Management operating model that fully supports the priorities and productivity of our business colleagues, as well as develop a strategy/roadmap for Applications Management covering 5-10 years. The Key Requirements Solid knowledge of SAP solutions architecture Hands-on knowledge of ABAP, SAP configuration and the BTP integration toolset Strong understanding of key business processes across a large FMCG organisation Experience of successfully leading an Applications Management team through an SAP upgrade to S4 HANA Experience of providing an AM service across non-SAP solutions (in-house, SaaS, COTS) Experience of establishing the measures/benchmarks for the function, maturing and continuously improving the AM operating model in accordance with best practice and designing new operating models to support an S4 HANA platform Experienced in the management of a departmental budget including the annual cycles of forecasting and periodic re-forecasting Why join us Joining Premier Foods, you'll be part of a business that is working towards enriching life through food, leveraging innovation with brand growth and flawless execution.
