Job Description
* Manage and monitor stock levels across various departments.
* Make informed purchasing decisions to ensure optimal stock levels.
* Collaborate with the Procurement & Supply Chain department to streamline operations.
* Ensure timely supply of materials to meet production schedules.
* Conduct regular inventory audits.
* Work closely with suppliers to maintain good relationships and negotiate contracts.
* Forecast future supply needs based on sales data and trends.
* Implement strategies to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Stock and Purchase Controller should have:
* A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
* Knowledge of inventory management and procurement principles.
* Strong analytical skills to forecast demand and manage inventory.
* Excellent negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers.
* Proficiency in using inventory management software.
