We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced full-time Receptionist / Administrator to join the current team here at Scott Dunn's Equine Clinic in Berkshire!
We offer an excellent benefits package including staff discount (equine and small animal) along with a highly competitive salary, depending on experience. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm
About the role:
Due to continued growth of the practice this is an exciting opportunity for a highly professional, efficient administrator, with first-class customer service skills, as you will be liaising with clients, in sometimes, emotional circumstances.
2. Answering phones and booking appointments
3. Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
4. Undertaking and maintaining effective administration processes, protocols and procedures
5. Daily miscellaneous administration tasks/emails.
What we're looking for in our Receptionist/Administrator:
6. Previous equine experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!
7. Experience of working in an office and thrive in a busy and challenging environment, with the ability to adapt to change and multi-task
8. Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
9. An excellent communicator with strong empathy
10. Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
11. A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
12. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
