As a Senior Level Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping gameplay experiences, delivering high-quality design documents, and prototyping specifications. Your expertise will guide the level design team, ensuring a standard of excellence while driving core feature development.

This exciting opportunity can be based out of any of our studios in Oxford, Warwick, or Runcorn, offering flexibility, collaboration, and the chance to work with a world-class team! Responsibilities:
1. Create engaging and immersive levels that enhance gameplay and align with the overall creative vision.
2. Collaborate with artists and narrative designers to iterate on and refine level designs.
3. Spot potential issues early in production and communicate effectively with the Lead Level Designer.
4. Playtest levels regularly and provide constructive feedback to fellow team members.
5. Integrate contributions from different disciplines (AI, sound, gameplay elements) into the game engine.
6. Develop guides and tutorials to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
7. Write specifications for new features or improvements actively.
8. Provide insights on design processes and workflows to enhance production efficiency.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience creating game design documents and prototypes.
2. Strong background in level design for multiplayer games.
3. Professional experience in a Senior Level Designer role on at least one published title from concept to completion.
4. Comprehensive understanding of the video game development lifecycle and production timelines.
5. Expertise in production pipelines and workflows.
6. Ability to advocate for player-centric design principles.
7. Experience mentoring and guiding teams to improve performance and problem-solving.
8. Insight into industry trends and their impact on project effectiveness.
