Hours and Pay
Shift Pattern: 4 shifts on, 3 shifts off (7am – 11pm)
Weekend Enhancement: Extra 50p per hour for weekend shifts
Pay: £12.21 per hour + paid travel & waiting time + (Drivers) 25p per mile.

Training & Development
All staff must attend a PAID four-day induction:
Tuesday: Induction/Welcome to Unisus (09:30 - 12:30)
Wednesday: Medication Training Theory / PEG Training (09:30 - 14:30)
Thursday: Basic Life Support Theory & Practical / Catheter Care (09:30 - 14:30)
Friday: Moving and Assisting of People Theory & Practical (09:30 - 14:30)
We also offer a range of development opportunities, including access to our ‘Cooking for Care’ course to help you better support clients in meal preparation.
You will also receive eLearning as well as other training to complete independently.
The Role
As a Health Care Assistant, your main responsibilities will include:
Following care and support plans for clients
Assisting with personal care, hygiene, and mobility
Helping clients with meals, medication, and appointments
Supporting clients in maintaining their independence and well-being
Working with a team to ensure the best care possible
