Support Worker required to support a young female 1:1, in Wokingham Berkshire. You must hold full right to work in the UK for this role. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to support one of our young people 1:1 two days per week. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the life of a 17-year-old female with mental health challenges. Key Responsibilities: As a Support Worker, you will provide valuable support to a young female who is independent but requires assistance during mental health episodes. Your role will involve accompanying her to college and providing in-class support. You will be there to ensure her well-being, encourage her independence, and provide reassurance during challenging times. Our young person lives in a residential home on the sight of a residential school for young people with complex needs. About You: The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with mental health needs and will be able to offer calm, consistent support. Building trust and creating a safe, supportive environment is essential. You should also encourage her to maintain her independence and assist with her medication as required.
