The Role
This role is well suited to an experienced Employment solicitor who is motivated to build and develop their practice. The firm has a well-established and Legal 500-ranked Employment team nationally, which makes for the perfect environment to take your practice to the next level.
Candidates should have an established network and be keen to grow and manage a team around them. Business development will be an important element of the role and the firm is seeking someone who is entrepreneurial, commercial and keen to lead from the front.
The firm as a whole and the Glasgow office, in particular, is going through a real period of growth and Partner succession planning. As a result, there is an outstanding opportunity for someone to make Equity in a short space of time and become recognised as a future leader, driving the growth and strategic vision of the firm as a whole.
The Ideal Candidate
* Is an experienced Employment Solicitor operating at, or looking to step up to, Partner level
* Has a strong network of contacts or a client following
* Can manage a varied caseload with a range of clients including high-net-worth individuals
* Has strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients and colleagues alike.
* Enjoys meeting clients, attending networking events and business development activity
* Is well organised and can prioritise efficiently
