Employer description: \nBill Gosling Outsourcing provides business solutions to their clients with various types of services including Customer Service, Accounts Receivable Management, Customer Sales, Contact Centre Technology, and Business Process Outsourcing. \nWith over 60 years in the call centre industry, they have the technology and resources to help their clients get their brand where it needs to be and grow their business.\n\nOverview: \nThey are on the hunt for a new Desktop Support Technician. \nIn this role you will support end users within the business for their basic information technology related needs in relation to hardware and software.\nProgram: IT Support Professional SCQF Level 8\n\nSalary:\n£22,000 per annum\nWorking week:\nâ¢\tMonday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm.\nâ¢\tYou will work 1 Saturday per month, from 9am - 12pm. \nBenefits: \nâ¢\t\ Responsibilities: \nâ¢\tAssist the Helpdesk Support team with desktop support tasks such as the secure deployment of workstations, portable devices, keyboard, mice, monitors and \n telephony equipment. \nâ¢\tAssist the business and operational/support staff with supporting helpdesk related processes, tasks, and project items over a variety of channels, including voice, SMS \n and chat. \nâ¢\tSupport IT Department with technology related tasks when required including data center and office cabling. \nâ¢\tAssist with team/ operational training on various applications. \nâ¢\tMonitor daily operations and enhance processes to maximise technology efficiency. \nâ¢\tKnowledge of Information Systems in relation to supporting workstations, portable devices, keyboards, mice, monitors, telephony software including hardware and \n software. \nâ¢\tChampion company core values and other company programs.
