Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a New Build Specialist Flooring Contractors with a reputation for delivering large Volume Installations on Housing Developments across the North West and Midlands Region in their search for a Customer Service Operative to deal with enquiries and complaints from their offices in Stoke. Our clients work closely with the New Build Housing sector and pride themselves on delivering excellent installations into these New Homes of High Quality Carpets, Wood and Luxury Vinyl Tile Flooring Products. A key element of their service is after sales which generally comes into play once the House has been sold and the new owners have moved in, occasionally this is where issues may arise and your role will be to handle the customer service aspect of this after care service ensuring prompt and professional solutions are found to any issues. You will be working in conjunction with the Sales and Project Management teams to ensure that the customer is satisfied and that their problem is solved as quickly as possible. You will also be a first point of contact for any other enquiries to Customer Service via various means (telephone, Twitter, email etc). The duties of the role as our clients see them are as follows: Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times. Responding promptly to customer inquiries. Communicating with customers through various channels. Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints. Learning our products information so that you can answer questions. Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests. Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints. Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary. Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process. Managing a team of junior customer service representatives. Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support. Customer Service operative Requirements: 1-2 years Customer Service or Customer facing experience Knowledge of Flooring is desirable (not essential as it can be learned as you go, key is the empathy and efficiency to deal with the enquiry promptly and professionally). Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset. Knowledge of computer systems Inc word & Excel. Experience working with customer support. Own transport as office is not served by public transport. Hours of Work will be Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
