What You Will Do:
* Develop and maintain technical documentation within the engineering team, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
* Provide document time estimations for effective scheduling and budgeting.
* Conduct research, including reading source material and engaging with team members, to gather necessary information.
* Write, review, and edit documentation adhering to department standards and procedures.
* Create and coordinate illustrations, working with graphic designers when necessary.
* Offer periodic status reports to the Engineering Lead, ensuring smooth progress on documentation projects.
What You Will Bring:
* A minimum of 3 years experience in technical documentation, particularly in maintenance, operations, and troubleshooting.
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Technical Writing, or a related field; or a technical secondary education with significant experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with familiarity in CAD software such as SolidWorks being advantageous.
* Excellent command of technical English, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
* A detail-oriented approach, capable of multi-tasking and working under pressure in a dynamic environment.
