We have numerous vacancies for an Readymix HGV Driver to join our expanding logistics team based out at Manchester.
As a Qualified professional HGV driver for Holcim you will be responsible for the day to day running of a modern company run Concrete Mixer truck, The truck will be mainly based at our depot but you will be required to transfer to other depots within the region when the company requires you to. The company expects that as a professional HGV driver you will uphold the high standards set by the company and to run the truck in an effective manner to maximise fuel efficiency and minimise and damage to the vehicle. The company also promotes team work at all of its depots so during any quiet periods we expect people to get involved and help out around plant.What will you bring?
Can work alone or part of a team .
Flexible approach to hours as this role will require some weekend and potentially night working.
Knowledge of AI Policies and procedures an advantage.
Knowledge of concrete desired but not essential.
Customer Focused.
Good Communication skills required.
A valid HGV licence and driver CPC card is required.
Good knowledge of working time directive and drivers hours.
Previous concrete mixer experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
