United Response is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our supported living team as a Team Manager on a fixed term contract until June 2025, overseeing services across Exeter, Exmouth & Honiton). This is a rewarding role where you'll make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities and autism., As a Team Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our supported living services. Working closely with the Service Manager, you'll provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff, all while maintaining the highest standards of care for the people we support. Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading and guiding teams across multiple services, providing feedback and improving practices in line with positive behavioural support and person-centred approaches.
* Conducting regular staff supervisions and facilitating team meetings.
* Ensuring support plans are regularly reviewed, up-to-date, and implemented effectively by the team.
* Building meaningful community links for the people we support to enhance their engagement in the local neighbourhood.
This is a dynamic role that involves balancing hands-on leadership with administrative responsibilities. The ability to inspire and support your team, manage your time effectively, and maintain high standards of care is crucial to your success in this role.
To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the following criteria:
* A Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel across East Devon.
* Extensive experience in social care, particularly working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
* Previous experience in a supervisory role, with a proven ability to motivate and manage a staff team.
* An NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or be willing to work towards this qualification).
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to ensure service needs are met efficiently.
