Job summary
We are looking for junior doctors with an interest in teaching to join our medical education team for our 2 TRF posts:
* 1 x with an interest in medicine
* 1 x with an interest in surgery

The working week consists of 4 days per week teaching, 1 day per week based in the clinical area of your choice. The teaching fellow will also be expected to take part in the preparation of assessments and participate as an examiner, amongst other projects.
Main duties of the job
The posts will involve providing generic clinical skills teaching, but also have an interest in the specialities indicated above. As the teaching fellow you will be expected to be involved in the teaching of medical students based at Kings Mill Hospital for their clinical placements. The post holders will provide clinical demonstrations, small group tutorials and practical sessions together with supervised direct patient contact on the wards.

* Current NHS experience

* Evidence of publications in medical education journals

* Experience of delivery teaching to undergraduate medical students
* Proven ability to utilise Information Technology as administrative tool
* Substantial years post-graduation in medical post
