What will I be doing?
As Reservations Supervisor, you are responsible for achieving occupancy targets/levels as identified in the annual budget and marketing plan for Reservations. The Reservations Supervisor will work alongside the Sales and Events Teams to develop future and repeat business opportunities. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
1. Manage telephone and email enquiries via all channels in a prompt and professional manner and in accordance with company standards ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times.
2. Assist in identifying any new contacts and sales leads.
3. Produce quotations and written confirmation to all clients in a timely manner.
4. Maintain a thorough understanding of hotel facilities and processes, and contribute to a culture of high quality standards for relationship building, customer service, selling techniques, and billing and processing contracts.
5. Attendance at Daily Detail calls.
6. Room allocations.
7. Inventory control – daily monitoring of OOO rooms, overbooking, no shows and quality of reservations made.
8. Supervise the operation of the reservation team and ensure a high level of customer service is consistently maintained.
