Benenden Health’s People team is evolving and growing to support the wider organisation and we are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Manager with expertise in skills mapping and knowledgeable on digital learning.
The L&D Manager will develop and implement learning strategies to deliver Benenden Health’s people plan by enhancing the skills, knowledge, and performance of employees within all functions, leading the digital skills roadmap, soft skills learning solutions and career development programs.
The Key Accountabilities For This Role Are:
* Map current skills across Benenden Health and identify gaps.
* Define digital learning roadmap and lead a digital learning improvement program to build requisite skills and capability within the organisation.
* Conduct annual Learning Needs Analysis of Benenden Health, identify themes, devise and implement learning and OD solutions.
* Manage overall annual L&D programme plan, resource and delivery.
* Design and deliver early to mid-career leadership development programs including the Apprenticeship programme.
* Foster and drive a learning culture across Benenden Health.
* Successfully implement a digital learning system.
* Evaluate effectiveness of all development programmes and demonstrate ROI.
* Work within budgetary constraints allocated from specific project and training budgets.
* Lead team of Operational Trainer Coaches, ensuring all Inductions are planned and resourced.
We welcome candidates with a breadth of experience and skills, including:
* CIPD Learning and Development Level 5/equivalent.
* Strong understanding of the evolving learning trends and ability to incorporate into L&D approach and workstreams. Ability to leverage technology to enhance learning experiences.
* Proven experience in designing and implementing effective learning programs.
* Learning mindset and ability to foster culture of learning in an organisation.
* Strong communications, interpersonal, influencing, presentation and facilitation skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Excellent stakeholder management, ability to juggle the needs of multiple stakeholders and maintain strong working relationships.
This role is based at our York office, but we offer hybrid working at Benenden Health, balancing working from the office and from home. For this role, please expect to work in our York office on average 2/3 days a week.
