Our common goal is to implement outstanding and innovative projects worldwide Job Description BEUMER Group UK are looking for a HSE Manager who will be responsible for monitoring and advising on all Health, Safety and Environment activities. The role would be based out of the Ashby-De-La-Zouch office in the midlands with an expectation to travel throughout the UK and Ireland. They will report to the COO and will ensure compliance to legislative, customer, project requirements including wider BEUMER group requirements (for example ISO accreditation). The successful HSE Manager will be responsible for managing the HSE team. They will also collaborate with a number of stakeholders from the project teams to customer requirements. Core Activities Management of HSE Team Reporting to and advising management on all HSE topics including risk management. Monitoring of HSE activities Supporting key stakeholders in project/site/customer activities Legislation adherence Adherence to recognised standards (ISO 45001) Expert on construction topics to ensure adherence to CDM Regulations 2015 H&S Training/toolbox talk development and roll out for H&S topics Supporting the H&S advisors with the development of Safe Systems of Work within the BEUMER UK Organisation Incident Management and reporting Development and tracking of key H&S KPIs Environment Understanding of environmental requirements from both a UK perspective and the wider BEUMER Group sustainability protocols Quality Ensure that there is a strong interface with the Quality team to ensure we maintain the desired standard of quality compliance within the team. Qualifications Minimum of one of the below: NVQ5/6 in Occupational H&S NCRQ Diploma in Applied H&S NEBOSH Diploma Experience: Member of IOSH (CertIOSH or CMIOSH) and/or Member IIRSM - with continuous Professional Development to be demonstrated ISO45001:2018 and ISO 9001 Internal/Lead Auditor CDM2015 experience hands on and course based Facilities management experience Quality Management System knowledge IEMA (minimum foundation course) CSCS card Soft-Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members at different levels within the organisation. Global communication skills taking into consideration different requirements from different regions of the BEUMER Group Ensure that QHSE is welcomed throughout the organisation and seen as a team that are here to benefit each and every employee.
