Responsibilities: Provide targeted support to students with emotional and behavioural difficulties, promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation. Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans tailored to individual student needs. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and reporting to teachers and parents on behaviour and emotional development. Create a safe and supportive environment that encourages students to express themselves and develop coping strategies. Facilitate group sessions and activities focused on social skills development, conflict resolution, and emotional awareness. Collaborate with external professionals, such as educational psychologists and counsellors, to enhance the support provided to students. Experience and Qualifications: Experience working with young people, particularly those with emotional and behavioural difficulties, is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds. A resilient and patient approach, with a genuine passion for supporting young people in overcoming challenges. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff. Relevant qualifications in education, youth work, or a related field are desirable.
