We are now recruiting for a Band 5 Occupational Therapists (OT) to join our team working across the acute sites of Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and Western General Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for new graduates as well as existing Band 5’s who may be looking to enhance their skills and experience in the acute setting in a rotational or static post. We are looking for dynamic, forward thinking, enthusiastic, motivated and flexible OTs to join our team and the successful candidates will be supported by a highly skilled team of Occupational Therapists. Therapy services support staff development through appraisal process, supervision and CPD opportunities. There will be a commitment to weekend working in the occupational therapy team at both RIE and WGH as part of the 5 over 7 day working pattern. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
