Main Duties:
As a Risk & Controls Analyst, your main duties include:
* Review balance sheet control accounts and balance sheet reporting
* Actively contribute to creating the Annual Assurance Plan by identifying focus areas and introducing new ideas and methods.
* Monitor variances in balance sheet accounts and identify areas requiring detailed reviews or further investigation.
* Monitor compliance requirements across all divisions within the group, create compliance guidance, and enhance reporting requirements to improve transparency around compliance activities.
* Take ownership of detailed time management and project planning for smaller projects, aligning with the annual plan and supporting larger, more complex projects.
* Establish and maintain relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
* Assist with the Group enterprise risk process.
* Maintain and coordinate updates of CCO Risk Assessments.
* Introduce and maintain Risk Control Frameworks, providing support to divisional finance teams as needed.
* Assess and monitor key accounting processes and controls across the group.
* Implement best practices for documenting accounting processes and controls across the group.
