As Engagement Worker at Change Grow Live you will support the delivery of high quality service provision by creating an ambitious service user focussed culture and engaging staff to provide a continually improving and innovative service. An opportunity has arisen within Nottinghamshire Change Grow Live for the role of Engagement Worker within our Bassetlaw team. The base for this team is within our Worksop site, however there is the requirement to cover the Newark and Bassetlaw areas. Where: Worksop, Newark and Bassetlaw Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week Salary: £25,654.66 - £27,861.26 Dependent on experience (Based on full time hours, pro rata for part time) Responsibilities The post holder will be committed to taking a positive, holistic and empowering approach to support adult service users entering into and moving through recovery-oriented substance misuse services; increasing opportunities for service users, enabling them to achieve and sustain positive treatment outcomes. They will deliver a range of interventions including front of house engagement, needle exchange, assessments, risk assessments, case management and risk management plans. They may also cover group work, drop ins and outreach support to enable and empower service users to build their own recovery capital, and support them into long term sustained recovery and social (re)integration. The post holder will be required to work flexibly across operational sites as required and work flexibly within an agreed number of hours to maintain the most appropriate level of service provision. This may include evening and weekend working. You will have a good knowledge and experience working within the health and social care field and a good knowledge of substance use. You will require excellent communication and engagement skills, and knowledge of assessments; recovery planning, risk assessing, risk management planning, and an ability to work well under pressure in order to deliver high quality services. We also expect an assertive approach to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, young people and adults, and applicants to these posts will need to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to best safeguarding practice.
