Vertiv, Ireland plans to double its manufacturing capacity for switchgear, busway, and integrated modular solutions (IMS) by 2025. This strategic move is in response to the rising demand for data center power infrastructure, particularly for AI and high-performance computing applications. The expansion has already created over 1,000 new production jobs and will continue across key global regions, enabling Vertiv to meet the accelerating customer demand for power management solutions and contribute to industry growth.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Technical Program Manager will support global project execution teams for the largest global accounts in the organization. There is very high expectation for growth in these global accounts through new product and service program delivery and increasing levels of customer service as applicable. The successful candidate will interact with internal engineering and project execution teams as well as lead discussions for development of current and new product lines supplied to our customers. The role is to guide qualification and renewal of products with our customer and support strategic delivery of those products and programs. This role will interface closely with the overall Global Account Program Director, ensuring close alignment on strategy and execution for the account, working with and through lines of business, regional sales and service organizations and leadership. Teamwork with global divisions of Vertiv is of paramount importance as is the ability to work well with respected executive leaders for each client.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Focus on updating and maintaining standards on our existing product lines and support for developing bespoke designs for our customer.
* The TPM will support planning and management the global key account from both client facing and business facing capacity.
* The role involves taking part in client facing discussions in relation to planning awarded works, up-coming potential opportunities, technical support, and commercial business.
* The TPM will lead collaboration with the relative LOB in all regions (EMEA, US and APAC) day to day to ensure technical compliance, on time/budget delivery of projects and preparation for future works.
* Monitoring and reporting on quality of our service provided to the key account in relation to project deliverance and products produced is important to the continued success of the overall program, TPMs will aim to drive improvement throughout.
* Regular interaction and accountability to Senior / C- Level leadership across Vertiv.
* Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Higher level Engineering qualification in related Engineering subject with proven application of strong technical ability.
* 3+ years’ industrial experience in a client facing project management role.
* Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
* Must be a self-starter and follow projects to completion with minimal supervision.
* Must be able to work under different levels of pressure with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
* Effective motivator with an enthusiastic desire to succeed is desired.
* Possess the ability to maintain professionalism via email / telephone & meetings both face to face and via video.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
* Office based role with no specific physical / Environmental demands.
TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED
* Travel <10% - Extensive domestic and some international travel will be required as needed.
