In this role, you will be responsible for deploying and managing best-in-class security tooling to support a complex, growing global organization. You will be experienced in engineering at a large/enterprise scale and will be skilled in problem-solving and collaborating across teams and timezones. You will have the opportunity to define and enhance security for over 7000 users and tens of thousands of devices using industry leading solutions.
Responsibilities
1. Deploy and manage security tooling and processes to protect the organization's infrastructure and data.
2. Engineer security solutions at an enterprise scale.
3. Automate security tasks and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
4. Proactively identify and resolve security issues, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
5. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across different time zones.
6. Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and standards.
Experience Required
1. Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer in a large/enterprise environment.
2. Experience working in heavily regulated industries.
3. Strong understanding of security principles.
4. Hands-on experience with a variety of security tools, including:
1. Secure Web Gateway.
2. Endpoint detection and response (EDR).
3. Email Security (Gateway and DMARC).
5. Proficiency in scripting and automation languages (e.g. PowerShell, Terraform).
Secondary Requirements
1. Knowledge of Security Frameworks (NIST, MITRE etc).
2. Security information and event management (SIEM).
3. Intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS).
4. Relevant security certifications (e.g., SSCP, Vendor Certifications).
5. Experience of working with tools like Jira, Planner, and Confluence.
