In this role, you’ll play a critical part in supporting businesses with their property transactions, offering expert legal advice, and ensuring successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing a varied caseload of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, refinance and development projects.
2. Advising clients on all aspects of commercial property law, including planning, financing, and environmental considerations.
3. Drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, and other property-related agreements.
4. Conducting thorough due diligence, including reviewing title deeds, searches, and legal documentation.
5. Collaborating with clients, surveyors, lenders, and other professionals to ensure smooth transaction processes.
6. Keeping up to date with developments in property law and regulatory changes to provide accurate advice.
7. Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering excellent service throughout.
Key Skills and Experience:
1. Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or equivalent with at least 2 years’ experience in commercial property law.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of commercial property transactions, including landlord and tenant law, acquisitions, and disposals.
3. Strong negotiation and drafting skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of simplifying complex legal concepts for clients.
5. Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently and meet deadlines.
6. A proactive, client-focused approach with a commitment to achieving the best outcomes.
7. A team player with the ability to work independently when required.
