The Vendor Account Manager will be joining a Vendor Services team as part of a Global Digital Marketing agency. Working across international clients you'll be instrumental in the relationships created and fostered with the agencies vendors. From monitoring their performance to formalising agreements and negotiation, this is a full relationship / strategic position. You'll act as the go between the Vendor and internal teams to help ensure successful completion of a range of projects and campaigns.
With no two days the same, you'll be creating status reports for the internal teams / squads, collating feedback from key stakeholders and relaying / implementing those changes to the agency. The Vendor Account Manager will help to keep projects on track in terms of timelines and budgets through their consistent contact with vendors and internal teams.
Reporting into the Head of Vendor Services, the Vendor Account Manager will:
- Manage and develop long - term relationships with a portfolio of Vendors, Partners and Contractors
- Support and formalise contractual agreements
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders
- Lead intake meetings
- Lead on negotiations with Vendors
- Onboard new Vendors and partners
- Reports on Vendor performance
- Help forecast and track key performance metrics including financials
- Build briefs, business cases, monthly reports and other key operational documents as required
- Identify new opportunities to add value to the team's key marketing efforts
- Liaise between the external Vendors and internal teams
Requirements:
- 5 years experience with a marketing setting, ideally with agency background
- Proven experience with building relationships
- Understanding of website development, marketing, measurements of analytics, content management and digital marketing
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-Suite level
