Position Overview:
As Deputy Head Teacher for Early Years, you will lead and manage the Early Years team (Crèche to Reception), ensuring academic, pastoral, and administrative excellence. This leadership role includes developing high-quality Early Years education, fostering positive staff collaboration, and maintaining strong communication with parents. In addition, you will take on the role of Club Leader, overseeing extracurricular activities to enrich student experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership and management for the Early Years team, including teachers, assistants, and volunteers.
* Oversee curriculum planning, teaching quality, and student progress in Early Years.
* Coordinate parental communication, workshops, and events.
* Manage resources, induction for new staff, and professional development opportunities.
* Organise and lead extracurricular activities, ensuring alignment with school values.
Qualifications (Essential):
* Bachelor’s degree in Early Years Education (minimum requirement).
* At least 5 years of experience in Early Years education.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with the Reggio Emilia approach.
* Certification in Positive Discipline.
* Qualification in Special Education Needs (SEN), including speech, language, and communication expertise.
