Main duties of the job
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & AREAS OFRESPONSIBILITY
Goods receive all stock and nonstock items on EMIS (Estates Management) computer system
Goods receive and check deliveries of all itemsto stores both stock and non stock
Contact suppliers regardingshortages and discrepancies through email, fax or phone call
Contact management regard shortagesand discrepancies for non stock delivery again through email or phone call
Contact management with regard tonon stock deliveries (which may be very urgent)
Liase with suppliers to encouragethem to meet estates purchasing needs and contracts
Solely responsible for the day today running of the Estates Stores including both stock and non-stock items
Explain details of purchasingrequirements /issues with other staffie contractual agreements with suppliers
Ordering of departments personalprotective clothing weekly
Negotiate with suppliers in regardto contractual issues on stock supply eg delivery time scales ,prices
Formulate word documents for stockamendments forms, safety equipment forms, and stock adjustment forms.
Formulate spreadsheets for stockequipment using Microsoft Excel.
Thejobholder must take responsibility in agreement with his/her line manager forhis/her own personal development by ensuring that Continuous ProfessionalDevelopment remains a priority. Thejobholder will undertake all mandatory training required for the role.
