Job Overview:
We are seeking a driven and motivated sales account manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key customer accounts, driving sales growth, and providing exceptional customer service.
Duties:
* Growing existing accounts by proactively selling promotional lines, daily specials, cross selling and upselling.
* Developing strong working relationships with customers to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
* Building long term trust and rapport with customers, helping to offer solutions and ideas to their business.
* Using a variety of resources to identify opportunities or target specific customers with sales promotions or specials, with proven results.
* Increasing growth in customer base.
* Producing and utilising relevant reports to grow sales.
* Developing a strong working relationship with the business development managers.
* Achieving regular set targets and KPIs.
What we are looking for:
* Proven experience in a sales/telesales or account management role.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
* Ability to analyse data effectively to drive decision making and achieve sales targets.
* Ideally have previous sales/customer service experience preferably within foodservice.
* Proven ability to work in a targeted sales environment.
* Highly organised with effective time management skills.
* Proficient in Word/Outlook/Excel with excellent typing skills to facilitate prompt and accurate data entry.
* Professional communication, both written and verbal. Much of your work will be telephone based, so you must be confident on the phone.
* Driven and motivated by targets with the personal resilience to work well under pressure.
* Effective communication at all times with our customers. Handling complaints, finding solutions where and when required.
Salary: Dependent on experience.
