With ambitious growth plans underpinned by an excellent reputation and longstanding team (of over 1200 staff) across the UK, they now seek to appoint a Business Development Manager (BDM) as follows: Working between London and the West Midlands as required, travelling between the two and beyond for business related meetings and networking Knowledgeable in the Mental Health Step-Down and Supported Living Care Home fields Ability to identify new opportunities, including partnerships, funding sources, and service expansion. Build and maintain strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities, and healthcare professionals. Oversee the successful launch of new services, ensuring they meet regulatory and operational requirements. Lead and coordinate market research to identify service gaps and demand trends. Develop and present compelling proposals to secure contracts and funding. Collaborate with operational teams to ensure services are delivered to high standards. Monitor and report on business performance, identifying areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements. Attend key industry events, networking opportunities, and stakeholder meetings. The suitable Business Development Manager will have: Proven experience in business development within the mental health, supported living, or social care sector. Strong understanding of mental health step-down services and supported living models. Demonstrable experience in building and managing relationships with commissioners, local authorities, and NHS partners. Experience in launching and developing new care services. Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements. Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and drive growth. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects across different regions. Willingness to travel across England as required.
