THE JOB:
· Undertake subject teaching responsibility and ensure all pupils develop their knowledge and skills and make good progress in their learning
· Work with the Head Teacher and Leadership team to deliver a sequenced curriculum which builds knowledge and skills towards agreed end points
· Effectively monitor the progress of each pupil, checking their understanding systematically and effectively, putting in place clearly directed and timely intervention

THE PERSON:
· Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS/PGCE) preferred but other recognised teaching qualification considered
· Proven experience of teaching Science to secondary class/group
· Experience within an SEN setting an advantage
· Ability to prepare and deliver appropriate curriculum using a range of teaching styles and methodologies
· Driving licence and use of own car as may be required to transport pupils

SALARY:
£30,980 - £42,545 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.
