Maintenance Technician
Location: Chepstow
Salary: £43,000 + Days & Afternoons (2 Shift) + Overtime + Training + Progression + Pension + Holiday + Benefits + Permanent role

LINKS Recruitment Group present a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to work within a well-established company who are continuously growing due to company success.
The Role:
You will be working within a team, carrying out PPM’s and maintenance on a range of production machinery.
1. To continually carry out routine/preventative maintenance, mechanical settings, and fault diagnosis across all the facility and systems, some major items include:
2. Vertical powder paint line.
3. Semi-automated packing (tapping & spiral wrap) lines.
4. Paint line conveyor/track.
5. Spray guns reciprocator.
6. A range of liquid pumps, valves, and heating elements in chemical treatment and wastewater treatment plant.
7. Polyamide rolling lines and packing machines.
8. To have an understanding of pneumatic/mechanical control systems.
9. To have an understanding of electro/mechanical control systems.
10. To adhere to and maintain a preventative maintenance programme.
11. To liaise with and assist internal staff where required, promptly and in a professional manner.
The Person:
1. Completion of an engineering apprenticeship and/or HNC level or above in an engineering-related subject; or equivalent experience within a relevant engineering role.
2. Experience of working within a manufacturing environment.
3. You will be multi-skilled, with the ability to fault-find and repair both mechanical and electrical fields.
4. Experience across a variety of pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
5. Ability to perform both proactive & reactive maintenance duties using a scheduled maintenance system.
Role: Permanent
Shifts: 2 shift pattern (days & afternoons)
Week 1 - M-T 6-2, Friday 6-12
