The Digital/ICT Department is responsible for the delivery of information systems and services to the whole organisation to support clinical and business integration. ICT leads in the development of ICT Technology strategy and directing all delivery programmes and services. ICT provides a range of critical ICT services many of which are in operational use 24/7. The post holder will be expected to assist with all aspects of the day-to-day administration and management of the general IT environment as necessary, with particular emphasis on the Trust's Service Desk, desktop hardware, printing, and client, application(s) and infrastructure environments.
To provide technical assistance and support relating to software applications, IT equipment, and user accounts management.
The ICT Support Technician is to provide first & second line user support, in accordance with pre-determined standards and procedures.
This post holder will be responsible for providing initial technical support to users of computer systems throughout the Trust.
The post holder will have an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft systems with accreditation and/or experience of working within an IT environment.
