About the Role:
The Primary Inclusion and Wellbeing Service provides a range of services to children, young people, and families who, for a variety of reasons, are finding it difficult to engage with education. Our children and young people have often experienced a range of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and some have diagnosed conditions such as Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) - recognising this informs our practice.
From P1 to P7, we support our learners to engage in bespoke packages of education both on-site and in community-based settings, even when life is at its most challenging. Our pupils benefit from being surrounded by a resilient, caring, skilled team of staff who see beyond their behaviour and work to their strengths. The significant pastoral role carried by all Primary Inclusion and Wellbeing Service teachers is a key attraction for many who have joined us.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a fully qualified GTCS primary registered teacher in the Primary Inclusion and Wellbeing Service.
Responsibilities:
You will assist in the delivery of the curriculum and contribute to whole school initiatives, as appropriate. You will carry out the range of duties outlined in Annexe B of 'A Teaching Profession for the 21st Century'.
