Are you passionate about health improvement and enjoy motivating others to lead a healthier lifestyle? Xyla is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme as a Health and Wellbeing Coach. In this role, you will meet with service users at risk of type 2 diabetes, providing them with the knowledge and support they need to achieve a healthier future through a series of group coaching sessions.

Every day you will:
Conduct initial assessments with service users, taking measurements and running through questionnaires
Deliver group sessions covering nutrition, physical activity, and behaviour change
Work with service users to help them achieve their goals
Maintain data monitoring records for all service users within your caseload in a timely and accurate manner
Assist the service user engagement strategy to ensure adherence to the programme and minimise dropouts
Where required, conduct risk assessments on potential delivery venues.

To thrive in this role, you must have...
A BSc in Sports & Exercise Science OR a REPS level 3 in Personal Training
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport
A passionate for health improvement
A full driver’s license and access to a vehicle
